Pol was graduated in ESCAC (Cinema and Audiovisual School of Catalunya) Bachelor’s Degree, specialized in cinematography with two short films, shot in 35 mm, with special mentions in photography .

In 2004 was elected Talent in the Berlinale Talent Campus in Berlin , where he could attend the Andrew Lesnie and Michael Ballhaus’s Master Class.

In 2005 he founded the production company Laneta where he worked as director of photography on many commercials and music videos , he produced and photographed two fiction series for television.

During these years, he photographed some documentary feature films, working with artists such as Jaume Plensa or the writer Juan Marsé.

He filmed again in 35mm the short film La Parada, and worked as cinematographer in two series on Canal 11 in Mexico.

Also during this period he worked a lot in the fashion world as a cinematographer: Carolina Herrera, Mango, Antonio Banderas, Sita Murt, etc.

He filmed the documentary “Danse la Danse” in Moscow, a film that portrays the last days of choreographer Nacho Duato in the Compañia Nacional de Danza. This documentary has worldwide recognition in many festivals and premieres in theaters.

Thanks to his job , he had the chance to put his two passions together, filming and travelling : New York, Nigeria, Cambodja, El Salvador, Ecuador, Moscow, Paris, Cote d’Ivoire, Mexico, Tunis, Argentina, Liberia, Dubai, etc…

He has been shooting also a fiction tv serials for Filmax and Arca Audiovisual with directors such as Pau Freixas.

Actually he has representation  by L’Agence  and Aylene Gardiner for commercials and fiction.

During all these years he developed a very sensitive eye to everything around him, a point of view closer, sincere, and consistent with the story. Also natural and stylish. A high sense of drama and screenplay, always carrying the story with sensitivity to the visual imagery which it belongs.

Actually he is preparing his first feature fiction film and at the same time shooting commercials and documentaries.
